It’s been a long time coming, months have passed – errors here there and everywhere…. then I thought it was fixed and something else broke! BUT! we’re back! and we’re actually bigger and better than ever before!

There’s a whole load of new stuff and buckets full of the old stuff for our seasoned regulars

For those who are new here, possibly stumbled in from a link on Facebook or directed from Google – you’re probably wondering what this is all about?….

digital:XCESS (digital excess) is a website formed and unleashed on the world back on the 21st January 2001, initially a basic website built using a Sega Dreamcast – the site grew to include a Community Forum which was a meeting place for gamers kicked out of the Sega Europe Community when it closed.

It soon become much more than a place for gamers to chat as people new to internet found their way to us, many with no interest in games…. just wanting somewhere safe to chat and make new friends…. as the years have passed the core features have remained the same. And now, nearly 10 years on we relaunch as a website for those looking for somewhere to chat and make friends, but with the added bonus of features such as the arcade, individual image galleries, online multiplayer gaming, news, media galleries and much more.

So if you’re new, welcome – please register and contribute how you wish, whether it be competing in the arcade, chatting in the arcade, showing off your photographs or maybe even bringing us the latest news and information.
